I truly believe that when you enjoy the process and look forward to your lessons, you learn more effectively and naturally.
In each session, I prioritize conversation — I want my students to speak as much as possible. Afterward, we go over any mistakes together to ensure everything is clear and understood. This helps you build both confidence and accuracy over time.
Depending on your level, the focus of our lessons will adjust accordingly. If you're a beginner, we’ll cover essential grammar topics step by step — but don’t worry, you’ll start speaking Italian with me from the very first class!
Even when we're working on grammar, I keep the lessons conversational by asking plenty of questions and encouraging spontaneous use of the language.
For intermediate and advanced students, our classes will be more centered around real-life conversation, reading, and listening activities. We’ll tackle more complex grammar topics like the subjunctive mood, the three types of conditionals, and advanced sentence structures — all with practical examples to help you speak like a native.

Ricardo was very kind and patient in the lesson. He enjoys teaching and knows how to teach students. I learned some basic Italian expressions for traveling with Ricardo. It was a really nice time.

I went into the lesson knowing I wanted conversational fluency, so our conversations are usually based around day to day life, hobbies, disinterests, work, school, etc. Riccardo's English is very good, and while the occasional Italian habit comes through, he certainly has no trouble knowing what I'm trying to say and helping me to develop a much more colloquial dialect. He's very fun to work with and I highly recommend him.

Riccardo is a very passionate and friendly teacher. Not only did he prepare his own teaching materials, he would also provide exercises for student. During the class, he also encourages me to speak in Italian and would correct my pronunciation. Highly recommend Riccardo if you're looking for a good Italian teacher!
